Health Reporting: $100,000
Health is one of the issues that defines our times, and at inewsource we focus on quality of care. That means arming consumers with the information they need to navigate a labyrinth of health care choices and critical, often life altering decisions. It also means holding accountable those who wield power in both the public and private sectors.
Our reporting is impartial and nonpartisan, but we do seek to put our thorough, data-rich reports into the hands of those who can improve the healthcare system. We measure success by feedback and impact.
Our reporting is particularly sensitive to the nation’s aging population. As 10,000 people a day turn 65, Baby Boomers are finding themselves interacting in the healthcare system more often than they would like. Whether it’s a hospital, an outpatient surgery clinic, a rehabilitation facility, a nursing home or hospice, questions about quality of care and costs mount. In-depth, accountability journalism helps them be better educated to navigate the tough decisions.
