Submitting a tip on our website helps us review your tip more quickly. We will not publish your name or information without your consent.
Do you have a story idea you think we should explore? Is there something troubling that we should investigate? Do you have documents or data our investigative reporters should review? You can always reach out to our staff directly by finding their contact information here, or you can fill out our tip form.
inewsource stories are focused on holding powerful people and institutions accountable. When submitting your tip, please keep in mind:
- Our stories focus on systematic issues and widespread injustices, rather than individual concerns. Explain what is happening and how it could be part of a larger pattern. Try to be specific about who is being harmed and how.
- If you have documentation that helps corroborate your tip — such as emails, complaints, government reports or text messages — share them with us.
- We have a small staff and may not have the opportunity to investigate every tip or personally respond to each tip we receive, but we always welcome submissions. Tips and insights from readers are a crucial part of our journalism.
