Why this matters
More than one in three roads in the City of San Diego are in poor condition or worse, according to its latest pavement management plan.
A new report from the City of San Diego shows that 34% of streets are rated poor or worse, showing that road conditions have worsened since they were last assessed.
Now, city officials are trying to tackle repairs with inadequate funding and projected budget deficits.
This map details the city’s street network, including its five-year paving plan, current conditions and the date it was last paved. Details may change based on funding availability or other issues such as inclement weather, contracting delays or supply chain issues.
