Voters across San Diego County, California and the U.S. head to the polls today to cast their ballots in the 2024 general election.

Polls are open until 8 p.m. Here is where you can vote in San Diego. You can drop off your ballot at any of these voting locations as well. If you have not yet registered to vote yet, here is how you can vote.
Much is at stake. At the top of the ticket are Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump. Voters will also decide a number of congressional races, determining which party will have a majority in the U.S. House and Senate.
Here in San Diego, voters will decide key local leadership positions – and who will be next to tackle an ongoing rise in homelessness, a cross-border pollution crisis and a struggling storm water system hit hard by extreme weather events.

Voters will decide several state and local measures on Tuesday’s ballot as well, including sales tax increases aimed at raising money for infrastructure projects.
