Adam Klekowski helps ensure that all the great work of inewsource is funded and well resourced. Before joining the team, Klekowski worked with religious nonprofits for nearly 20 years in San Diego. That work took him around the world as he sought to support underserved communities both locally and internationally, specifically working in Malawi, Uganda, and Haiti. He is excited to bring new strategies, ideas and energy to expand the work of inewsource.

Coming from a family of fundraisers, Klekowski learned to raise funds personally and professionally. From lemonade stands to college internships to teaching hundreds to fundraise and overseeing giving for a nonprofit, his experiences are vast. From 2019 - 2022, Klekowski oversaw a $6,000,000 building campaign that helped elevate and sustain a mission driven organization. He is passionate about creating a culture of generosity that values all gifts of every level. Sustainability is key and means that all who appreciate the work of inewsource contribute at whatever level they can. Consider becoming a sustaining member today at inewsource.org/donate.

Klekowski has lived in San Diego for 20+ years and enjoys running, yoga, baking and competitive sandcastle building. He received his bachelor’s degree in sociology and religious studies from UC San Diego and a masters from Bethel Seminary.
