The police department in San Diego County’s second-largest city will no longer pursue an expanded business relationship with Flock Safety. The change comes after inewsource and our San Diego Documenters program were the first to report on Chula Vista’s proposal to enter into an agreement with Flock for its drone program.
Police will continue using its existing telepresence system for now until the city “can evaluate available technologies and potential alternatives,” spokesperson John Cihomsky told us.
