Lucía Serrano is a bilingual and binational journalist, theatre producer and publicist with experience in storytelling, marketing and communications.
A UCLA graduate, she began her journalism career as an editor at the San Diego Union-Tribune en Español, where she was recognized with a 2023 Pacific Southwest Emmy Award. With more than ten years of experience working with nonprofit organizations and theatrical productions, Lucía has produced live events and led projects most recently presented at the Academy Museum (2025) and Carnegie Hall (2026). She also covers and reviews theatre in San Diego for BroadwayWorld.

Outside of her professional work, Lucía enjoys spending time with her son and exploring the stories and communities that inspire her.
