Lorie’s remarkable career, which includes 25 years at the Union-Tribune, a Harvard Nieman Fellowship and a bold adventure into nonprofit news, is a powerful reminder of the vital role local investigative reporting plays in strengthening our community and democracy. Her work inspires us as we look toward the future.

Gardiner Harris is an investigative journalist and author known for his impactful reporting on public health, corporate malfeasance and international affairs for publications including The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal. His reporting has led to corporate fines, legislation and changes in public policy. Harris recently released No More Tears: The Dark Secrets of Johnson & Johnson.
