We’ve spoken with our neighbors, and heard over and over again: Across San Diego County, residents are looking for news that’s laser focused on their neighborhoods.
So we’re starting in South County, where we’ve already steadily grown our coverage in recent years. Amplify South Bay will go out weekly, bringing to your inbox news and a variety of other resources.
From highlighting local events and the decisions elected officials will make at upcoming meetings, to showcasing original art of our community members and the places we love from our Pulitzer-winning cartoonist Steve Breen — it’s a new, expanded product from inewsource that you won’t want to miss out on.
As a South Bay native, I’m particularly excited. I know how important local news is to keeping our community informed and making it a better place. The best way to do it: Reporting that’s by the people, and for the people. We’re answering that need.
